There’s always a lot going on in the world of DeSantis. One of its latest products to catch our eye is the Midnight Express, a brand new holster for the unique Pedersoli Howdah pistol from Italian Firearms Group.
Billed as an authentic reproduction of the holster made for the legendary Ithaca Auto & Burglar gun—the inspiration for the Pedersoli Howdah—from nearly 100 years ago, the DeSantis Midnight Express holster is available in both black and tan versions. The tan model is made from premium saddle leather, while the black variant sports a steer hide construction and is coated with a durable, waterproof polyurethane finish.
Available for both right and left-handed shooters, the black version of the Midnight Express holster for the Pedersoli Howdah comes with a $54.99 price tag. The suggested retail price for the tan version is $99.99.
Chambered in .45/410, the Pedersoli Howdah break-action pistol features two 10.25-inch barrels; walnut grip; dual triggers; unloaded weight of 4.1 pounds; ramp-mounted bead front sight and a folding rear leaf V-notch sight. It measures 17 inches in overall length. MSRP is $1,395.
