Hogue Rolls Out Beavertail HandALL Grip Sleeve for the Ruger LCP II

Hogue’s Beavertail HandALL Grip Sleeve series—first introduced late last year— now includes an option for the Ruger LCP II, the company has announced.

“The LCP II does not have removable grips that you can simply replace,” grip designer Matt Hogue said in a statement. “The Hogue solution was to build a model of our HandALL Beavertail Grip Sleeve that works with the existing frame and adds comfort along with a precision fit.”

To install the Beavertail Grip Sleeve, you simply slip it over the LCP II’s grip frame. The sleeve matches the contours of the polymer frame for a secure and comfortable fit. Upon installation, the HandALL sleeve offers a single finger groove for easy handling and control of the gun, Hogue says. The finger groove leads into a palm swell that fits naturally in the hand. The beavertail built into the grip sleeve rises high along the frame’s backstrap, providing full rubber contact with the hand and allowing for a higher hand-placement on the grip without fear of the slide striking the skin between your thumb and trigger finger upon firing the gun. The beavertail also cushions your hand during recoil.

Built from a durable thermoplastic elastomer compound, the HandALL’s rubber offers a firm, tacky feel and doesn’t harden, split or crack with age or usage. The grip surface feature’s Hogue’s Cobblestone texture, which is a series of circular bumps that provide a non-slip and non-irritating grip on the rubber.

Hogue’s new Beavertail HandALL Grip Sleeves for the Ruger LCP II are available at a MSRP of $10.95 for black, and $12.95 for OD green, flat dark earth, aqua, pink and purple.
