Sig Sauer’s New P320 X-Series Introduced for 2017

It goes without saying that we’re really excited about everything Sig Sauer has on tap for this year, including the P320 RX pistol; the M400 V-TAC rifle; the P220 Legion and P220 Legion SAO in .45 Auto; an expanding Elite Performance Ammunition line; and much more. But what we really have our eye on is the new P320 X-Series.

The new Sig P320 X-Series keeps the P320’s modular design, but it’s enhanced with an X grip module that features an extended beavertail, four-sided beveled magazine well and a crisp trigger guard undercut. According to the Sig, it also features an enhanced flat trigger; better slide serrations and three lightening cuts on top of the slide.

There are three pistols in this series: the X-Five, X-Carry and X-VTAC.

The X-Five is chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W and comes with a five-inch bull barrel; an extended slide catch lever; Dawson adjustable rear sight plate and a fiber optic front sight. It’s compatible with Sig’s ROMEO1 optic.

The X-Carry, the concealed carry variant in the P320 X-Series, features the X-Carry grip module; a 3.9-inch barrel; X-RAY3 day and night sights; ROMEO1 compatibility; reduced slide catch lever; and three 17-round magazines. It’s chambered in 9mm.

Designed by the legendary Kyle Lamb (of Viking Tactics), the 9mm X-VTAC features a FDE stainless slide with lightning cuts; VTAC day and night sights; and comes with three 17-round mags.

No word on when these beauties will be released, but when we know, you’ll know.
