Century Arms AP5: MP5-Style Pistol Officially Hits US Market

Here’s one we’ve been waiting on for some time. Century Arms announced the release of its new AP5 recently. And we’re pretty sure its gonna pop. The AP5 comprises a roller delayed blowback design, just like the famous MP5.

We first saw the new AP5 back at the 2020 Athlon Outdoor Rendezvous. Our friends at BallsticMag.com had the scoop on the pistol back in October. Officially titled the Apparatus Pistol, the new Century offering puts a new take on one of the most famous firearm designs of all time. Dating back to the 1970s, the MP5 earned wide praise as a military and law enforcement stopper. It stands apart for it compact design and effective volume of fire.

The Century Arms version comes from the MKE manufacturing facility in Turkey. It will offer several variants, including the full-sized AP5, mid-sized AP5-P, and also a fully concealable AP5-M.

Each model includes a rugged plastic carry case and two, 30-round magazines. The kit includes a factory cleaning kit, sling and gun lock as well. Each pistol comes with a factory Picatinny-style optics mount for mounting red dot or reflex-style optics.

What About Price?
