Dave Sevigny has a proven track record of success in competitive shooting, and the FN Pro Team Captain continues to dominate, capturing his eighth all-time win at the USPSA Area 7 Championship and his 10th Division Champion for FN America’s shooting team this season. The match took place last weekend at the Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club in Augusta, Maine.

According to the press release, the match included almost 300 competitors, all of whom participated in over 10 stages with more than 200 rounds fired. The Production Division featured some stiff competition, with 94 entrants and seven Grand Master-class shooters. Sevigny used his FNS-9 Longslide pistol, notching a penalty-free match and wins on four out of 10 stages.
“My goal was to shoot a penalty-free match, and I was able to accomplish this at Area 7,” Sevigny said in a statement. “We’ve had a lot of early success with the FNS-9 Longslide and will continue building its winning reputation, one match at a time.”
