An armed homeowner in Portland, Oregon shot and killed a home invasion suspect last Thursday. Other suspects are still on the loose.
KOIN 6 News reports that police arrived at the home located in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood at around 1 a.m. and discovered 30-year-old Anthony Lazarides, dead of multiple gunshot wounds.

According to OregonLive, Lazarides has a lengthy rap sheet that includes prior convictions for assault, reckless driving, and possession and delivery of marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin since 2004.
The 45-year-old homeowner was transported to an area hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound. He is expected to survive and is cooperating with the authorities. He hasn’t been charged with the shooting.
A neighbor told KOIN 6 News that the homeowner had recently been the victim of another crime.
“A few months ago, he had somebody break into his truck and rifle through it,” the neighbor, identified only as Josh, said.
