An armed robbery at a Waffle House in a Dallas suburb ended with the suspect getting shot by a customer with a concealed carry handgun.
According to the Dallas Morning News, a man walked into the Waffle House located on the 1500 block of North Beckley Avenue in DeSoto armed with an AK-47. He proceeded to rob multiple people in the restaurant, as well as the business itself.

The robber then walked out, but one customer, who was legally armed with a concealed carry handgun, followed him out into the parking lot. He told police his wife was making her way to the Waffle House and he feared for her safety.
The good guy with a gun called out to the suspect, who turned around and pointed the AK-47 at him. That’s when the concealed carrier opened fire and shot the suspect multiple times.

Polive arrived on the scene and the suspect was transported to an area hospital. He’s currently on life support and has yet to be identified
The customer has not been arrested for the shooting, police confirmed.
