Apex Tactical Specialties just dropped its 5-inch LongSlide for the FN 509. The new aftermarket component upgrades the pistol for anyone looking for more accurate shooting.
Apex Tactical FN 509 Slide
The custom longslide comes loaded with features, according to Apex Tactical Specialties. The fully machined slide comes optics ready with an RMR cut. Apex also lightens the slide to mimic factory slide mass with both front and rear cocking serrations. Meanwhile, the sight dovetails accept FN sights.
The slide comes fully assembled with Apex’s Heavy Duty Striker and Failure Resistant Extractor. An included hammer-forged 9mm barrel features a 1:10 twist rate. Customers choose between a standard-length 5-inch barrel or a 1/2-28 threaded barrel with thread protector and captive O-ring. The slide also comes with all internal components and a yellow recoil assembly.
Though red dot ready, the slide also ships with either standard-height XS 3-Dot night sights or suppressor-height sights (black/black). Slides come in either stainless or black Melonite finish.
