Bill Taylor’s Bushido School of Karate is set to hold a free ladies self-defense seminar on Saturday, October 25 at 12:00 p.m. The class will take place at the school’s South Murfreesboro location in Tennessee.

Self-defense is a vital skill to have, especially in the light of recent attacks against women which have made the news, WGNS Radio noted. With the holidays approaching, it’s more important than ever.

“We have been training adults and children how to protect themselves and their loved ones for over 30 years here in Murfreesboro. It’s not just our duty but it’s an honor to provide these free classes”, stated Dojo Founder, Sensei Bill Taylor.

Sandra A., said, “I’ve taken the class twice and learned how to educate myself on my surroundings and what to do should I suspect someone intends to do me harm. This class is very empowering. I’m bringing two of my girlfriends that need this training.”

As WGNS reports, the class teaches how to avoid being chosen as a target, what to do if you’re approached by a dangerous attacker, and what to do if attacked. The class is free, but donations towards Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness will be accepted. Students and non-students are invited to attend. You must be at least 13 years old.
