Savage Arms has announced the release of their new Model 11 Trophy Hunter XP Youth Muddy Girl scoped-rifle package. This rifle comes with a factory-mounted and bore-sighted Nikon BDC 3-9x40mm scope which has a specialized reticle which can be tailored to specific loads. With four calibers to choose from, young shooters have the option of pursuing anything from varmints to big game.
According to the press release, the Model 11 Trophy Hunter XP comes with a 20-inch barrel with a range of twist from 1-in-9 inches to 1-in-10 inches depending on the caliber. The overall weight of the rifle is four pounds, the overall length is 39.5 inches, and it comes with a 4-round capacity. The stock of the rifle is dipped in Muddy Girl camouflage.
In order to enhance comfort and fit, Savage minimized the overall weight of the rifle and redesigned the stock of the standard 11 Trophy Hunter to accommodate the dimensions of a smaller shooter. This reliable rifle package boasts a floating bolt head, a thread-in, zero-tolerance headspace system, a button-rifled barrel, detachable box magazine and user-adjustable AccuTrigger.
