To commemorate a phrase made popular by the late actor and former NRA President Charlton Heston, Rio Grande Custom Grips have partnered with Cold Dead Hands to create three sets of Second Amendment supporting 1911 firearm grips (stocks) of which these Pry My Fingers are a part.
The particular set here (Pry my fingers …) reflects the popular saying “From my cold dead hands,” made even more famous in the speech given by famed actor, strong Second Amendment supporter and NRA President Charlton Heston at the May 2000 NRA Convention membership dinner when he held a Revolutionary War replica musket over his head and forcefully stated “…from my cold dead hands!”
The “Pry my fingers” skeleton hand 1911 grips were made with white boney fingers on a gray background. A custom Cold Dead Hands, Inc. revolver logo was also added to the bottom of the left-hand grip.
Cold Dead Hands sets of special edition grips are manufactured by Rio Grande Custom Grips, LLC and are now available on Cold Dead Hands online store for $59.95, as well as other models of Second Amendment supporting handgun grips, including the “Don’t Tread on Me,” “Libertas/Mortis” and Skull and Guns grips.
