The Leupold RX-1400i TBR/w Gen 2 Rangefinder Adds Flightpath

Leupold, known for its high-quality sports optics, released its RX-1400i TBR/w Gen 2 Rangefinder. Like the Gen 1, the Gen 2 has a host of features for hunters and long-range shooters. These include True Ballistic Range/Wind (TBR/w) technology, rugged construction, 5x magnification, long-distance ranging, etc. However, Gen 2 now adds the Flightpath feature for bow hunters.

Featuring a lightweight, rugged polymer construction with rubber armor, the RX-1400i is weather sealed for near-complete waterproof performance. Likewise, it is extreme climate tested to operate in temperatures ranging from -40 degrees Fahrenheit up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit. As a result, the rangefinder can withstand the harshest conditions you may encounter on your hunt.

The RX-1400i utilizes Leupold’s proprietary DNA laser engine along with a bright red TOLED display for fast, accurate, and visible readings. Featuring True Ballistic Range/Wind (TBR/w) technology, the rangefinder delivers custom shoot-to-distances based on your rifle’s cartridge. In addition, TBR/w’s 10-mph wind holds provide all the information you need for more first-shot hits.

The RX-1400i features 5x magnification for positive target identification at distance. Likewise, the rangefinder is capable of ranging to 1,400 yards on reflective targets, 1,200 yards on trees, and 900 yards on deer-sized game. Correspondingly, Last Target Mode provides accurate ranging in snow, rain, and fog.

The addition of Flightpath technology indicates possible arrow obstructions when hunting with a bow. Once the calibration process is complete Flightpath will display an illuminated tick mark. This indicates where your arrow will be at 20 yards. Anything above the tick mark will not pose a problem, but anything below it could obstruct your arrow.

Don’t rely on rifleman’s rule when you can choose the unparalleled accuracy of TBR/W.”
