Davidson’s just announced an exciting partnership with EAA, delivering an exclusive take on a timeless classic. The new EAA Girsan MC P35 Select 1 brings serious upgrades to the iconic Browning Hi-Power design.
EAA Girsan MC P35 Select 1
The Hi-Power continues its dramatic resurgence. In the last year, we’ve seen variants produced by EAA, FN, and Springfield Armory, to much fanfare. Now the Girsan MC P35 Select 1 offers a gold-accented take on John Browning’s famous blaster.
The MC P35 Select 1 pays homage to one of the more widely used military guns in history. It comes built on a steel frame and slide. Moreover, it delivers a 15+1 overall capacity in a staggered-column magazine. Originally designed for military use, the Hi-Power, when put together correctly, delivers great accuracy and shoots well. EAA claims this version of the Girsan MC P35 lives up to the reputation.
This offering marks the latest of three exclusive MC P35 pistols from Davidson’s. The Select 12 comes with a black finish, gold colored controls and finely checkered walnut grip panels. The gold controls include the external extractor, slide stop, ambidextrous thumb safety, magazine release and serrated ring hammer. The grip panel screws also feature accents. Finally, the walnut grip panels feature elegant stylings, finely checkered just where the shooter needs extra grip purchase.
The Select 1 retails for $799.99. For even more info, please visit davidsoninc.com.

Editor’s Note:
Once left for dead, the Browning Hi-Power continues a remarkable resurgence. It seems as soon as Browning stopped production, shooters everywhere started clamoring everywhere for the seminal 9mm. In short order, multiple companies brought back a version, including FN, now flooding the market with Hi-Power clones. And we’re all for it! Certainly, there remains a ton of other ways to go, as double-stack 9mms come in every imaginable flavor these days. But it’s nice to see the Hi-Power hang on. For collectors especially, this Girsan variant deserves a look.
