“I have a deep respect for those who answer the call of duty and serve our country, which was instilled in me by my father, who was a veteran of the Korean War,” said Anthony Imperato, CEO and Founder of Henry Repeating Arms. “I’ve been blessed to shake hands and present rifles to the nation’s finest, from Congressional Medal of Honor recipients to World War II heroes like Louis Zamperini. We will always continue to give back as much as possible to those who allow us to continue to do business in the land of the free. It’s such a deeply ingrained part of our company DNA.”

Henry Repeating Arms Communications Director Dan Clayton-Luce presented the National Veterans Foundation a check for $50,000 on October 22. On November 2, Imperato presented the DAV with $50,000. On November 10, Building Homes for Heroes received a check for $50,000. The recent donations came preceded by several more earlier this year. Henry gave $175,000 to a host of veterans groups. They include Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Shadow Warriors Project.

The incredible donations continue a legacy of giving from Henry. Past veterans and war heroes earned the Henry’s Military Service Tribute Edition rifle. The rifle serves as the company’s permanent salute to America’s military men and women. Notable recipients include Congressional Medal of Honor recipients Ty Carter and Don Jenkins. Others include D-Day combat medic Ray Lambert, WWII veteran and Olympic runner Louis Zamperini, USS Indianapolis survivor Edgar Harrell, and many more.

“No matter how much we give back to these men and women and the organizations that support them, it will never be enough,” Imperato said. “It’s a debt that cannot be repaid.”

Henry Repeating Arms continues putting more heart into this industry. From little girls battling cancer to combat veterans, Henry gives. And gives. And gives. You will notice several “Henry Gives” stories here on Tactical Life. And as long as they keep helping people in need, we’ll keep writing them. Moreover, we encourage you to remember Henry the next time you need a hunting rifle or fun .22 lever-gun. All companies make money when they sell their good. But we know, more than many out there, Henry gives back to its own. Sick children, law enforcement groups and veterans organizations all benefit from the good work Henry Repeating Arms continues to do. That make them a hero in our book.
