The SIG Sauer P320 platform is clearly here to stay. The military adoption of SIG’s striker-fired platform marked the debut of a new platform for so much more. Now SIG and an entire cottage industry support builds, customization and accessories to support the pistol. The latest comes from the SIG Sauer Custom Works, dubbed the SIG P320 AXG Combat.
SIG P320 AXG Combat Details
At first glance, the pistol borrows heavily from the original P226 in its style, boasting an FDE and Nitron two-tone finish. But this bad boy is all P320. It comes with an optic-ready slide and anodized AXG grip module. A threaded barrel and suppressor-height XRAY3 Night Sights give it capability beyond a standard build. The pistol also ships with three 21-round magazines for maximum firepower.
In plain terms, this pistol blends the weight of a metal-framed gun with modern performance builds. Just small enough to carry concealed, shooters can equip the pistol with a suppressor for duty work. Built on the P320 platform, users can mix and match upgrades as well.
The P320 AXG Combat comprises a limited-edition offering. Each pistol ships with a Custom Works engraved slide, delivered in an exclusive Custom Works case, complete with challenge coin and custom certificate. For even more info, please visit sigsauer.com.

Editor’s Note:
The P320 is quickly becoming the most dominant modern pistol platform on the market. Are we in the early days of what the AR-15 would eventually become? By virtue of being the issue sidearm of the U.S. military, this market and platform will likely just continue to explode. As such, the AXG Combat offers a unique variant for collectors and hard users alike.
