Over the course of 2021 Faxon Firearms has released a series of barrel upgrades for the 10/22 and now follow with the receiver kit.

Whether you are starting a 10/22 rifle build from scratch or upgrading an existing 10/22, the receiver is your cornerstone. As the core component, the receiver contains the serial number, making it a “firearm” by government standards. This is regardless of whether it is completely stripped down or already installed. For that reason, before you purchase your receiver, you will need to locate a FFL dealer for shipping purposes.

The Faxon 10/22 receiver utilizes 6061-T6 aluminum with black hardcoat anodize finish, for long-lasting wear and durability. The anodized finish also gives it a sleek looking presentation. Riding atop the Faxon 10/22 receiver is a 16-slot integral picatinny rail, for mounting your choice of optic.

The receiver is compatible with all Ruger OEM 10/22 non-takedown components. It is also designed to fit perfectly with all Faxon 10/22 rimfire barrels. The included chromoly steel v-block also helps prevent barrel sag during install. As a result, you achieve better scope alignment and tighter scope zero settings, closer to the scope center.

In addition to Faxon and Ruger fitment, the receiver fits with most aftermarket chassis and many aftermarket barrels and internals designed to work with OEM, non-takedown receivers. The kit also comes with a rubber bolt buffer to help reduce the felt recoil while firing the 10/22.
