SIG P229 PRO-CUT Slide: Optics-Ready, Stylized Cuts, & Improved Sights

SIG Sauer just dropped a cool component upgrade for P229 fans. For the first time, the company offers the SIG P229 PRO-CUT slide. The aftermarket slide upgrade features stylized relief cuts, upgraded sights and removable sight plate for mounting a red dot optic.

SIG P229 PRO-CUT Slide Delivers Upgraded Option for Carry-Optics

The PRO-CUT slide accommodates P229, 9mm threaded and non-threaded barrels, guide rods, and recoil springs. It comes fitted with XRAY3 Day/Night Sights. Meanwhile, a removable sight plate makes it optics-ready, accommodating the SIG ROMEO1Pro red dot sight. It also works with Delta Point Pro and RMR, with an additional RMR sealing plate.

The slide works with the latest versions of the SIG P229. Versions include all P229s shipped in a 40/357 configuration or a 9mm with a rectangular barrel hood (Most 229-1 9mm barrels feature “P229-1” stamping). Note: The rear slide serrations extend from the bottom to the top of the slide. They exhibit the latest external extractor, measuring longer than 1.25 inches.
