Thomas County Selects American Defense Manufacturing UIC Mod 1 SBR

American Defense Manufacturing (ADM) recently announced the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office SWAT selected the company’s UIC Mode 1 LE 11.5-inch SBR. The Georgia SWAT team handles high-risk warrants, barricaded suspects, hostage situations and other assignments.

The American Defense UIC Mod 1 LE 11.5-inch SBR combines premium components and exceptional performance, according to ADM. Additionally, a Rosco Manufactured barrel helps deliver the utmost in accuracy. The SBR also features fully ambidextrous controls, including charging handle, safety selector, magazine release and bolt catch.

ADM provides provides replacement to any rifle used in a critical incident and taken out of services for evidentiary purposes. Meanwhile, the company’s “Ready to Serve” program provides replacement of any ADM rifle destroyed int the line of duty as well. The company further pledges to help departments maintain 100-percent stock in its armory.

The Thomas County SBR includes the new Titanium QD Autolock lever assemblies in their Aimpoint T2 Red Dot Optic & SureFire M300 Scout Light mounts. The lever assemblies reduce overall weight, providing twice the thread strength compared to cross-bolt designs, according to ADM.
