SIG Sauer hosts the third annual Aiming for Charity Match Friday, May 17 to Sunday, May 19, at the SIG Sauer Academy in Epping, New Hampshire. Aiming for Zero is a division of the Active Heroes Foundation, whose mission is to reduce veteran suicide and assist military families.

The SIG SAUER Aiming for Zero Charity Match is a mix of IDPA, USPSA, and Steel Challenge. The match includes Iron Sights, PCC, and an Optics/Open division. All reactive steel must fall to score. Meanwhile, static steel must shows all hits to count for score.

Match targets include IDPA cardboard targets, featuring point down scoring. IDPA rules such as Failure To Do Right, equaling 20 seconds in penalty, will also be employed. The match awards prizes via the Lewis Scoring System, where it rewards top third, middle third, bottom third shooters, etc.

All IDPA and USPSA legal firearms are legal for this match. Minimum caliber requirement is 9mm. Meanwhile, the first magazine may hold a maximum overall capacity of 11 rounds. All additional mags may hold only 10 rounds overall.
