Windham Weaponry’s Lowers
Both lowers are constructed from 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum and boast a Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodized black finish. The stripped lower features a .154″ hammer/trigger, as well as .250″ pivot and takedown pin holes. All you need is a Mil-Spec lower parts kit and a buttstock assembly to finish this up for your rifle build.
The next step up is the complete lower. This model comes fully assembled, with all internal components and a six-position adjustable stock. The fire control group is a single state Mil-Spec setup. The buttstock utilizes a commercial buffer tube. The company touts this as a “great way to get your next rifle build off to a solid and reliable start.”
In the presser, Windham says it decided to enter this particular category due to customer demand.
“This is our seventh year in business, and after the requests of many customers and dealers, we’ve decided to start selling lowers so customers can build their own custom Windham,” said Mark Eliason, Windham’s VP of sales and marketing.
“Where there are so many options available, we wanted to give our customers the opportunity to add the features they prefer,” Eliason added.
The MSRP for the stripped lower is $105, while the complete version is priced at $260. Both lowers are covered under Windham’s lifetime transferable warranty. To buy these lowers, contact your local FFL.
