A little while back, Nikon released the P-Tactical Spur, its first-ever red-dot sight. Now the company looks to be expanding that category with the launch of its P-Tactical Superdot.

First unveiled at SHOT Show 2018, the P-Tactical Superset sports fully multicoated lenses, along with Nikon’s proprietary TruColor” coating, which the company says removes the bluish tint one typically associates with red-dots. The sight features a 2 MOA dot that’s adjustable with 10 brightness levels. The first two settings are night vision compatible. In addition, the sight is centered within the field of the 22mm sighting window, providing a wide field of view and unlimited, non-critical eye relief.
Windage and elevation adjustments on this sight are done in 1-MOA increments. An integral tool on the top of each cap is included so users can do just that. The internal adjustment range is 100 MOA.
Hyped in the press release as being compact and lightweight, the P-Tactical Superdot measures 2×1.7×1.7-inches and weighs just 4.2 ounces. The sight is built on an aluminum alloy chassis that’s shockproof and IPX7 waterproof. It also includes a removable rail mount with a height spacer for mounting on MSRs or any gun with a Picatinny rail or base.
MSRP on the Nikon P-Tactical Superset is $199.95. See the specs below.
