Troy introduced its brand new SOCC CQB (Special Operations Compatible Carbine) to the public at the Big 3 East Media event on March 21.
The new rifle has already been adopted by the Florida-based Volusia County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team. While the Volusia model is select fire, Troy is also offering a semi-auto-only SBR version for the civilian market.

Weighing only 6.08 pounds unloaded, the Troy SOCC CQB is easy to carry and fast-handling.
Featuring a Troy Tomahawk stock, the CQB model is 25 inches collapsed and 29.5 inches extended.
Its forged flat-top upper features new low profile Troy folding BattleSights, both front and rear. The Leupold LCO red dot seen in the video above was easily mountable to the upper.
The SOCC CQB’s forged lower receiver has a CMC trigger and Troy’s BattleAxe fire control group.
The forend is Troy’s SOCC92 BattleRail with M-LOK attachments for a wide variety of accessories.
Lastly, the 10.5-inch 1-in-7 twist barrel has a 3-prong flash suppressor. It mates well with the Silencerco Omega suppressor (also seen in the video above).
MSRP for full-auto LEO and military version is $1,699. The civilian, semi-auto-only model retails for $1,599.
