The Beretta APX uses a removable, internal serialized chassis system that allows for replacement, reconfiguration and size tailoring of the grip frame without affecting the serialized part. The finger groove-less frames are available in four different colors: black, olive drab, wolf gray and dark earth.
The new APX frames come with two additional backstraps and are available at a MSRP of $50.
Chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W, the Beretta APX is a striker-fired, full-size duty gun first introduced last year which features a 4.25-inch barrel; high grip position; aggressive, full-length slide serrations; oversized magazine baseplate; ambidextrous, reversible controls; Picatinny rail for accessories; trigger break of six pounds; overall height of 5.6 inches; overall length of 7.55 inches; and an overall weight of 28.24 ounces (9mm) and 28.92 ounces (40 S&W) unloaded.
