Stag Arms is introducing the Stag-10 and Stag-10S, the Connecticut-based manufacturer’s first foray into the .308 platform, this week at SHOT Show 2017 in Las Vegas.
According to the press release, the Stag -10 and Stag 10-S — both designed for the outdoorsman and tactical operator — feature a QPQ Nitride BCG for corrosion resistance, a VG6 Gamma Compensator to reduce recoil, a lightweight Diamondhead VRST 308 Handguard with Keymod mounting system for modular accessory mounting and a single stage trigger with Magpul enhanced trigger guard.

The Stag-10 features an 18-inch chrome lined barrel with a 1/10 twist, as well as a Magpul Fixed Rifle Stock, which provides the shooter with a stable cheek well and a consistent eye relief, the press release says. Basically, this’ll get the job done if long range precision is your goal.
Meanwhile, the Stag-10S boasts a 16-inch chrome lined barrel for rifle manipulation in close quarters while still retaining accuracy out to distance. It also has a Magpul ACS buttstock to compliment the shorter barrel with adjustability and a cheek well.
“Over the last 13 years, Stag has offered high quality, low cost rifles,” said Anthony Ash, President of Stag Arms. “The Stag-10 models will only reinforce that dedication to providing extraordinary craftsmanship at a great price point, and we offer our lifetime transferrable warranty to stand behind it.”
