Bill Wilson, the founder of Wilson Combat, might be known for creating top-notch 1911-style pistols, but he recently collaborated with Beretta to create a custom-grade 9mm that serves as the pinnacle of the 92 series.

The new 92G Brigadier Tactical starts with an M9A1 frame, which features an accessory rail. Wilson improved the checkering and rounded the triggerguard. It also has a beveled magazine well for faster, fumble-free reloads and Wilson’s G10 comfortable grip panels. Wilson also installs a larger magazine release that is easier to reach.
Within the Brigadier slide is a match-grade barrel with a recessed target crown for the ultimate in precision. On top of the slide you’ll find Wilson Combat’s rear Battlesight as well as a Trijicon tritium front sight. As its 92G designation implies, the pistol has Beretta’s “G” decocker—there’s no safety on the gun. Thumbing the decocker brings the gun back into double-action mode. All of the 92G Brigadier Tactical’s internal parts are metal, dispensing with some of the 92’s plastic parts, and the outer surfaces are given Wilson’s extremely durable and attractive Armor-Tuff finish for superior corrosion resistance. This is truly a gun for those who have come to trust the 92 series on the streets and battlefield.
