Wilson Combat, known for its high-quality 1911-style pistols and AR-platform rifles, recently began offering customization packages for customers’ Beretta 92/96 and M9 pistols. Now the company has gone one step further by offering its own tricked-out Beretta, the 92G Brigadier Tactical. After testing it, I can say that it may be the best Beretta I have ever used.
Available exclusively through Wilson Combat, the 92G Brigadier Tactical has just what you need for operating in pretty much any tactical environment. Rather than send your pistol to Wilson Combat for custom enhancements and the company’s tank-tough Armor-Tuff finish, this pistol has the most critical already installed. In essence, you will get a custom-grade pistol with plenty of enhancements and without the wait time or price.
Wilson Combat starts with an all-steel Beretta 92G with a Brigadier slide and, as the “G” in the model name denotes, decocker-only controls. The modified M9A1 frame includes checkering on the front and backstraps along with a rounded triggerguard. Wilson Combat also installs an Elite-style, match-grade, stainless steel barrel with a recessed crown for superb accuracy. The pistol also sports a “D” hammer spring, resulting in a light and crisp trigger pull. For fast targeting, the pistol features a dovetailed Trijicon tritium front sight and Wilson Combat’s own duty-ready rear sight. Wilson Combat’s G10 grip panels, featuring the “WC” medallion, and a steel guide rod and a few more enhancements round out the package. Finally, the pistol is given a black Bruniton finish for extreme durability.
