Combining comfort with purpose is the best way to make any carrying case stand out.
Mayflower Research and Consulting has partnered with Hodge Defense Systems to create the Universal Case, a multipurpose carry case designed to provide a padded carry option for the shooter’s carbine, spotting scope and other accessories.
The Universal Case was designed with a 16-inch or shorter barreled carbine in mind, but by incorporating ends that open, longer rifles or accessories can be carried. The ends of the case open allowing the case to fold flat to provide a clean, padded work station while at the range or extended urban observation positions.
A single row of PALS webbing is provided on the interior of the Universal Case to mount multiple ITW Nexus QASM Picatinny RAMP pieces (two included), allowing Picatinny compatible accessories to be carried securely.
The case contains one small pocket to carry a suppressor or 5.56 magazine-sized accessories.
According to SoldierSystems.net:
A 2” x 8” internal pouch on the right side of the case is capable of holding a suppressor, two M4 magazines, long-range camera lens, cleaning kit, or anything else similar in size. There is an 8” x 11” internal document pocket sewn into the center of the case to stow small items, data books, maps, NFA Trusts, or other documents.
Available in gray, the Universal Case retails for $135.
