A new law enforcement app will put resident in Central Arkansas closer to their local police departments.

The Benton, Jacksonville and North Little Rock Police Departments have announced the app that will make it easier for residents to get vital information in one place.

Along with receiving news and crime-related information, users will also be able to “view inmates currently in jail, submit a photo or video tip anonymously and receive emergency messages and alerts from the department,” according to THV11.

The app will also allow for departments to push out timely and important information to a geographically specific area or neighborhood. This will allow for quick relay of pertinent crime information or hazardous situations to those that it could affect.

The new law enforcement app is available for both Apple and Android based operating systems.
