TriStar Arms has expanded their line of Viper G2 semi-automatic shotguns with the release of their new 12-gauge sporting model: the Viper G2 SR Sport.
According to the press release, the gas-operated Viper G2 SR Sport comes has a 30-inch target barrel with a red fiber optic sight, as well as a red anodized receiver and end cap. It also has a synthetic stock and forearm with Soft Touch coating, which provides a rubber feel and results in an optimized shooting experience.
Chambered for 3-inch 12-gauge shells, the Viper G2 SR Sport shoots 2¾-inch and 3-inch shells interchangeably, allowing for both light target loads and heavy upland field loads. This shotgun also has an overall weight of 7.2 pounds, an overall length of 50 inches, a 3 inch chamber, and a 5+1 capacity.
“The Viper G2 SR Sport fills a very important niche in the shotgun market by providing sportsmen with a great looking gun that is tested at 5,000 rounds of endurance and comes at a very reasonable price,” said Gus Bader, president of TriStar Arms.
The manufacturer suggested retail price for the Viper G2 SR Sport is $609.00. See below for additional details.
