Troy Defense was looking to make a short-barreled rifle that shot like it was meant to be much larger. They succeeded with the M7A1 CAB in 5.56mm.
Highly portable, the M7A1 CQB easily balances and shoots as hard as most larger guns.
Troy Defense’s M7A1 CQB features a 10.5-inch barrel and a 10-inch SDMR rail.
The rail of the M7A1 CQB comes equipped with two Troy BattleSights: a Rear Folding BattleSight and a Front Folding M4 BattleSight.
One of the best features of the firearm is the Troy PDW Stock, which has a specialized carrier and buffer system. The PDW Stock expands to one of six positions.
Extended, the M7A1 CQB 5.56 has a length of 30 inches, with a 27-inch collapsable length. The rifle weighs 6 pounds.
The short-barreled rifle features a forged lower receiver, an M4A4 flat top forged upper receiver, M4 feed ramps, an enhanced trigger guard, Troy’s Ambidextrous Safety Selector, a manual lever safety with indicator markings on both sides of receiver and a Mil-Spec hardcoat anodized finish.
It has a 30-round magazine capacity and comes with two 30-round magazines. The M7A1 CQB also features a Troy BattleAx Control Pistol Grip.
The M7A1 CQB is available in black and tan, and has an MSRP of $1,749.
