Spartan Blades has unveiled two new products for 2014: a set of titanium chopsticks and the new civilian version of the Spartan Harsey Difensa Knife. Scroll down to watch video for more information about these two new releases from Spartan Blades.
While most would associate Spartan Blades with high-quality combat knives, the company decided to change it up a bit in 2014 with the development of their new titanium, breakdown chopsticks. These chopsticks come in three different colors: Standard Titanium, Cobalt Blue and Black PVD Coating. The carbon fiber can be removed, and it will be available in Red Twill and Black. These chopsticks, which come in a carry case, make for easy assembly and disassembly for washing.
The Spartan Harsey Difensa Knife is a collaboration between Spartan Blades and renowned knifemaker and developer William Harsey. Named after a World War II battle fought by Canadian and US First Special Service Forces in Italy, the Difensa was designed specifically for the Canadian Special Operations Regiment. It is a spear point blade knife with a blade length of 6 1/4″ and an overall length of 115/8″. The blade, which has a thickness of 3/16″, is made from CPM S35VN steel and comes in Black SpartaCoat and Flat Dark Earth SpartaCoat. In addition, the Micarta handle (available in black and green) provides the end user with a comfortable grip for both wet and dry weather conditions. A civilian version of this knife is also available.
