The SPARC II is a new, improved version of Vortex’s original SPARC red-dot optic. The side power button of the original model is gone; the new model is powered on/off using the brightness adjustment buttons. The previously used, thick battery has also been replaced by the far easier to find CR2032. Additionally, the SPARC II now comes with flip-up dust covers front and rear. Just like the previous version, several mounting solutions are included at no extra price, which allow the user to mount it on an AR-15 with either absolute or lower 1/3 co-witness, or it can be mounted even lower for use on other types of firearms. It has a 2-MOA dot, weighs 5.9 ounces (without base) and has a runtime of 300 hours on full bright. On low power, it will run for 5,000 hours. The entire Vortex line comes with an unconditional lifetime warranty. For more information, visit vortextactical.com.
