Built from stainless steel and using only premium parts, the Predator Tactical Shrike is a custom gun that should meet the most demanding criteria of serious shooters, whether they are high-speed operators or top-ranked competitors.
The Shrike is a particularly vicious predatory bird that impales its prey on thorns to help tear the flesh of its quarry. It’s a nasty little bird that is devastatingly effective in its ability to kill its prey. Now we can associate the Shrike with another predator—Predator Tactical, a new manufacturer of custom firearms located in Tempe, Arizona.

The barrel mates up with a feed ramp machined into the frame to ensure reliable feeding.
The man behind Predator Tactical is none other than Matt Burkett, whose shooting resume is as impressive as it is lengthy. Seven times he has been the Overall Champion at the MGM IronMan 3-Gun Match, three-time world 3-Gun Champion, two-time European 3-Gun Champion and the 2003 IDPA ESP Champion. He’s a USPSA Grand Master, author of numerous shooter self-improvement books and star of his own instructional DVD’s. I’ve known Matt for over 15 years—watched him as a young IPSC competitor and taken classes from him to improve my own game. He’s trained military members, sport shooters and law enforcement officers worldwide. Burkett has even been a guest expert on the History Channel’s wildly popular “Top Shot” program. The Grand Master has a knack for teaching and taking seemingly difficult movements and breaking them down to a series of easy to understand steps. Believe me, he knows his stuff!
