What was your first job?
My first job is still my job today, teaching the art of Gracie Jiu-jitsu and cleaning the academy.
When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up to be?
I wanted to fight, lol. I wanted to show my family that I could do what they did.
Scariest moment of your life.
Walking in a pit to take a picture of two pitbulls while they were fighting.
The most fun you ever had.
Oh wow, I have those moments every day with my 4 kids. Ha ha!
Everybody has a geeky side, what’s yours?
I collect post cards from the places I’ve been and flags from the countries I visit.

Hard to pick one… Last of the Mohicans, Braveheart and Gladiator.
In a celebrity boxing match, who would you want to fight?
Not a lot of people know this, but I tried to fight Mike Tyson. Unfortunately, his people didn’t let it happen. I’m a big fan of his.
Name 3 people that have inspired you.
Helio Gracie, Rorion Gracie and Royler Gracie
If you could only carry one gun into the apocalypse, it would be a….
For sure it’s my Heckler & Koch MP5SD. I love the accuracy and simplicity, plus it’s very lightweight.
One thing no one knows about you (until now)
I’m a perfectionist, stubborn and patient.
