Known for its lighting and aiming solutions, Viridian Weapon Technologies moves into alternative mounting solutions with the PINCH. Making it easier to transition between long-range and close-quarters optics, the mount sits at the optimal 35-degree angle. Additionally, the adjustable mount allows for various reflex optic sizes.
The Viridian PINCH 35-Degree Adjustable Offset Mount
Constructed of machined 6061 aluminum, the PINCH features hard coat anodization to withstand hard use in harsh environments. Affixed to the mount is a mounting plate in your choice of ACRO, RMR, Docter / Burris FF / Vortex Venom, or Shield RMSc footprint.
The mounting plate sits at a 35-degree offset angle. According to the company, 35 degrees is the optimal angle for fast transitions between primary and secondary optics. Specifically, this angle ensures minimal movement during transitions, which increases speed and accuracy.
In addition, the mounting plate is adjustable with three mounting positions. This allows the flexibility to customize the configuration based on personal preference or primary optic size.
“I take immense pride in the PINCH’s efficient and intuitive design. While it may appear simple, it’s the subtle intricacies that make all the difference in a shooter’s ability to transition quickly and accurately,” said Viridian Director of Engineering, Casey Carlson. “Our goal was to create an optic mount that enhances speed by limiting unnecessary motion and allowing adjustments to match the shooters equipment and preferences.”
