The gun that broke the internet is finally here. Hi-Point announced the long-awaited debut of the YC9 today, otherwise knows as the Yeet Cannon. The new affordable 9mm pistol comes threaded and optics-ready, all retailing for under $250.
Hi-Point YC9 Yeet Cannon
The Yeet Cannon derived from a very unique “Name our Nine” promotion Hi-Point ran back in 2019. The internet went bonkers, with gun fans clamoring for the gun name “Yeet Cannon.” In a brilliant piece of marketing, Hi-Point ran with it. Now the pistol finally launches, complete with a 1/2-28 threaded, 4.12-inch barrel. A Glock-style front sight, stylized grips, backstrap safety and 10-round, single-stack magazine round out the solid group of features. Better still, it comes optics-ready as well.
“As a brand committed to innovation and customer satisfaction, we are delighted to introduce the Hi-Point YC9 9mm Handgun,” said Kara Boesenberg, EVP for MKS Supply. “This firearm incorporates many extra features, our goal is to set a new standard of understanding when it comes to affordable firearms. Furthermore, we believe in providing handguns for any American who wishes to protect their family, despite their income level. We are confident that the YC9 will exceed the expectations of both our loyal customers and firearm enthusiasts worldwide.”
The pistol comes in all black, with “YEET CANNON” engraved on the slide. The YC9 retails for $229.
