Colt seems to be on quite the roll as of late in terms of new revolver introductions. One of its lates, the Colt Grizzly, brings together a solid set of features designed to keep you safe in the woods where big, toothy critters roam.
Colt Grizzly Details
This one on the surface might seem similar to the recently-introduced Colt Kodiak in .44 Rem. Mag. But the svelte Grizzly captures a lot of EDC qualities as well, making this a true do-it-all carry revolver with magnum power for the backcountry.
The Grizzly employs a stainless steel frame featuring a polished finish. A matte surface on the top rib complements the overall design, ensuring optimal sight acquisition. A smooth, unfluted six-round cylinder chambers both .357 Magnum and .38 Special cartridges. So it brings that classic dual-cartridge capability. Hogue OverMolded rubber grips help absorb recoil and provide a sure grip.

The .357/.38 revolver remains one of the more versatile, dependable tools for any outdoorsman. Better still, it easily doubles for so many other purposes, ranging from EDC to bedside blaster or truck gun. The new Grizzly does an excellent job of rising to fit all of the roles, if required. With the stainless finish and included feature set, we can see this wheelgun salmon fishing in Alaska or riding in a pack on any trail in the lower 48. Or tuck it inside the waistband for a powerful EDC.
