Installation is as simple as removing your standard magazine, removing any round that might be in the chamber, and inserting the device into the magazine well. Trigger pull weights match closely to OEM specs for a given pistol. An included spring enables lightening the pull. Additional springs are available on the website for fine-tuning for those seeking perfection.
The standard DryFireMag comprises a passive product, designed to simply reset the trigger. In addition to this, the company also offers the Smart DryFireMag, which works with the included Laser Ammo SureStrike. An internal battery powers an LED at the top of the mag, which activates the SureStrike when placed in the chamber. The SureStrike emits a laser beam, enabling shooters to track progress or interact with any of Laser Ammo’s reactive targets. This includes its Smokeless Range simulator that allows you to practice handling specific scenarios with your personal firearm.
