Constantly pushing in the pursuit of excellence, the Smith & Wesson® Performance Center® has taken on elevating some of their flagship pistols. The new Carry Comp version of the M2.0® Metal focuses on enhancing the shooting experience. The new Carry Comp Metal has unique features designed to boost your performance.
NEW CARRY COMP METAL
Combining all of the great features found on Smith & Wesson’s base handgun like the more rigid metal frame and superior ergonomics, it also has gone through several upgrades. The most prominent upgrade is the Carry Comp – the Power Port at the end of the 4.22″ barrel is designed to divert gas upwards when firing so you can manage muzzle flip more efficiently. The Power Port is integrated into the slide of the pistol with strategically placed lightening cuts to not only give the pistol a more customized look but also aid in reliability when firing.
With the growing popularity of red dot use on pistols, the Performance Center Carry Comp Metal features the patented C.O.R.E system that accommodates most handgun red dots on the market. One of the major issues with using a red dot on a handgun is the gasses escaping the pistol and clouding up the lens on your red dot. Smith & Wesson’s team came together and designed the new ClearSight Cut. The ClearSight Cut is an angular cut that pushes the gasses escaping from the chamber of your handgun away from the lens, allowing it to stay clear and giving you a better sight picture during firing.
ENHANCED PERFORMANCE
Performance Center enhanced internals to help produce a better performing trigger have been introduced in the Performance Center Carry Comp Metal, as well as a bright front night sight contrasted with an all-black u-notch rear sight. The Performance Center Carry Comp Metal ships with two 17-round magazines and is chambered in 9mm. To find out more visit smith-wesson.com.
