At its core, the gun is the reliable Ruger SP101. This gun is more, however. Its intricate engraving is eye-catching. The gun has a cushioned rubber grip with a hardwood insert. There is no exposed metal in the backstrap, making it extremely comfortable. In the event you prefer something else, the grip frame easily accommodates a variety of custom grips. In classic Ruger fashion, taking down integrated subassemblies requires no special tools, allowing for easy maintenance and re-assembly.

The gun has a pinned, replaceable black ramp front sight and integral rear sight. They are clear and easy to acquire.
