Patriot Ordnance Factory just announced the next evolution based off the recently well received P-15 Base rifle. Now the Patriot Ordnance LMR Base takes that same affordable approach to a carbine-length AR in .308.

Priced under $1,400, the LMR Base comprises a build centered on affordability. But make no mistake, it still retains the DNA shooters associate with the POF brand and firearms. The resulting build delivers a competitive entry-level carbine feature-rich in components.
“Following the success of our recent P-15 BASE Rifle launch in 5.56 NATO, we saw an opportunity to offer our customers a .308 [308 Win.] entry-level option that meets our standards for quality and reliability,” said Jeremy Selting, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at POF-USA. “At $1,359, the LMR BASE provides the features and dependability that both new and seasoned enthusiasts are looking for.”
The LMR Base, though chambered in .308, does not classify as an AR-10. It instead borrows from POF’s design elements that compact the .308 platform to dimensions more similar to the AR-15.
