Effective November 4, Beretta USA halted paused production of the Beretta 1301 Tactical shotgun with 7+1 capacity. The move comes in response to a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) decision regarding importation of certain components essential to the assembly of the shotgun.
Beretta Halts 1301 Tactical 7+1 Production to Comply With ATF Decision
Beretta USA remains in active discussions with the ATF to fully understand the scope of these regulatory interpretations. The company continues collaboration with regulatory authorities to resolve the matter, while continuing to serve its valued customers.
The pause creates no impact upon existing inventory available at dealers nationwide. Customers interested in owning a 1301 Tactical 7+1 should contact their dealer while supplies last.
In the meantime, to continue meeting consumer and partner needs, Beretta USA announces the release of the Beretta 1301 Tactical C. It comes in a 5+1 configuration of the 1301 Tactical. This model maintains the reliability and performance of the 1301 Tactical platform. It offers a solution for American gun owners, sports shooters and self-defense advocates.
The 1301 Tactical earned the title of 2024 Industry Choice Awards (ICA) Shotgun of the Year for the second consecutive year. For more info, visit beretta.com.
