ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact Optic

Let’s face it. The mounting systems for many optics on our pistols are less than optimal. They tend to be shallow, allow too much play, and often don’t fit very well. The simple fact that there are so many optic footprints is one contributing factor to this. However, there has been a push lately to remedy that, and Sig has joined that party early. An example of that is the new ROMEO-X-Sig-Loc Compact Optic.

ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact Optic

This new optic utilizes a unique mounting system that gives you five points of contact between the slide and the optic. Instead of a mounting plate, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC is mounted utilizing a front interlocking tab, recoil lug, indexing points, and screws that come through the bottom of the slide.

Leverage Optimized Connection

The SIG-LOC (Leverage Optimized Connection) system was first conceived during the development of the ROMEO-M17. This new design optic integration has a low-profile, ultra-tough connection between the optic and pistol slide.

The LOC system is designed to eliminate shifts in zero created by extensive shock from recoil and harsh impacts. The unique bottom-mounted design allows for a longer focal length that dramatically reduces parallax and reticle distortion, providing an incredibly forgiving shooting experience.

Compatible with the P365-FUSE

The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact Optic is currently only compatible with the P365-FUSE. However, SIG says that future integrations across the P365 and P320 platforms are coming.
