Whether you are a shooter, an angler, or have a penchant for collecting anything of value, it pays to have a safe storage solution to protect your investment and keep it out of unauthorized hands. We tend to focus on the sexier aspect of SHOT Show, ranging from guns to ammo to vehicles. However, storage solutions are an important, if overlooked, aspect of the show. Here are some of the latest gun safes from SHOT Show 2026.
20 Top Gun Safes from SHOT Show 2026
B.O.S. Lock Fusion

B.O.S. Lock is a new maker of safe storage solutions. The company’s premiere product for 2026 is the Fusion. The Fusion’s heart is a 700-lumen light and green laser combo with a rearward-mounted pressure switch. The light mounts like any other weapon-mounted light on a universal rail.

What puts the Lock in B.O.S. Lock Fusion is the addition of a hardened steel retention arm and a biometric locking system. To lock up the handgun, the slide is pulled to the rear, and the arm is rotated to prevent the slide from returning into battery.
In this position, the pistol can be left fully loaded but unable to fire with the slide out of battery. A fingerprint touch on the biometric sensor drops the arm out of the way and chambers a round. This allows authorized users near-instant access.
Grey Man Tactical RMP

Grey Man Tactical specializes in duty-ready rifle racks for quick storage inside patrol vehicles. New for 2026 are several models in their RMP lineup of racks that are compatible with vehicles ranging from compacts to MRAPs. These use Grey Man’s standard 15.25x 25-inch glass-filled nylon grating. They come with varying amounts of Quick First clamps, buttstock cup kits, magazine carriers, and utility pouches.
One notable variation is a T-bone version of the standard square rack. It holds one rifle via a buttstock cup and clamp. The handguard is supported by a full rack segment that provides enough room for spare magazines and medical kits.
Hornady Digital Ammo Cabinet

Typically, ammunition storage is the bailiwick of stamped steel key lock cabinets. If specialized ammunition is thought of at all. Hornady’s Digital Ammo Cabinet takes non-gun storage solutions to the next level.
Measuring 40 inches high, 18 inches wide, and 15 inches deep, with three shelves, the Digital Ammo Cabinet is designed to hold ample ammunition and firearm accessories. Unlike a traditional locking cabinet, the Cabinet has three locking points instead of the usual sliding bar that provides two. In addition, the cabinet uses a ten-digit digital keypad with an integrated USB-powered battery backup.
Hornady DIGI-Vault

The Hornady DIGI-Vault is a step above the typical key-entry lockbox you might bolt to a desk or tether inside a vehicle with a security cable to secure small valuables and handguns. Built from rigid 16-gauge steel, the DIGI-Vault features a spring-loaded door and reinforced door lugs for both ease of access and durability.
It also includes an interior light and a backup keylock. However, the main differentiation is a programmable 4–6-digit digital keypad. The interior measures 10.3 inches in width and will fit most handguns. Lockdown is provided by predrilled mounting holes or a 1,500 lb. security cable.
Hornady One-Gun DIGI-Vault
One size up from the base model DIGI-Vault, the One-Gun features the same interior light, mounting options, and build specs. The difference is a smaller door and a more cavernous space over the flip-top original.

The exterior measures 11.97 inches wide and 5.82 inches high, compared with the base model’s 12 inches wide and 3.8 inches high. This gives the end user more handgun storage options. Likewise, it can accommodate more bulky items, such as documents and jewelry.
Hornady Two-Gun DIGI-Vault
The next size up from the One Gun is the Two-Gun DIGI-Vault. It features the same 16-gauge steel construction, 4-6 digit keypad, spring access door, and interior light as the others. The difference is a larger door than the One-Gun and a height of 9.56 inches for even greater storage capacity.
Hornady TrekLite TSA Combo Lock Box

For those who fly by night, the Hornady TrekLite is a tough and lightweight unit meant to keep your handguns and valuable items safe in checked baggage. It features a TSA-approved four-digit combination lock that gives the user up to 10,000 combination options.
Unlike the other options, the TrekLight trades 16-gauge steel for a light impact-resistant polycarbonate build covered in shock-resistant rubber. With an interior width of 9.2 inches, the TrekLite boasts enough foam-padded storage space for a single full-sized handgun and a few magazines. Lockdown is provided by the same 1,500-pound-rated security cable as used in the DIGI Vault Line.
Remington Big Green Line Expands

For the discerning collector, the Remington Big Green line of safes is worth a look. This 12-gauge steel safe features 1.5 inch locking bolts, interior lighting, and adjustable shelving. It is an electronic keypad unit with two USB ports for backup power.
The Big Green line is rated fireproof for 90 minutes at 1,650 degrees. It is also tested as waterproof for seven days at a depth of two feet. The original Big Green safe has an 84-gun capacity. New to the lineup are the 44, 52, and 68-gun Big Green safes.
Winchester GunStixx

Many safes have no internal contours to hold and stack their contents. Similarly, others have cushioned hoops to rest the barrels of long guns. Inevitably, guns get stacked in one direction, increasing the risk of damage and lowering storage capacity.
Winchester’s GunSTiXX plates were available as an aftermarket accessory for Tractor Supply, Academy, and Winchester safes. In 2026, GunStiXX will be available as an option for Winchester safes across the Bandit and Legacy lines.
GunSTiXX are red polymer rods that fit down the rifle barrel. This protects the bore and exterior from damage and allows for efficient stacking. These .20 caliber rods fit most rifles and shotguns and can be cut for a custom fit.
Winchester VaultLite Line

Winchester has added a new line of bolt-down long-gun safes to its vast portfolio with the VaultLite safe. The VaultLite safes are available in 12-, 18-, and 28-gun models. At 55 inches tall and up to 20 inches wide, the VaultLite is ideal for closets and other areas where space is at a premium.
VaultLite safes are constructed of 14-gauge steel and use three one-inch locking bars. Other features include sewn side pockets for handguns, a top shelf for additional storage, U-shaped barrel racks, and a nine-digit electronic keypad.
Winchester Outrider Line

Winchester likewise expanded on the larger end of their safe selection with the Outrider line. The line includes unique features such as a folding utility table inside the door and Winchester’s GunStiXX plates, which hold rifles in the bore rather than around the barrel. The Outrider 16 has a capacity of 22 guns, including three shelves, 1 U-shape barrel rack, and 1 GunStiXX plate.
The Outrider 25 also has one U-shape rack, one GunStiXX plate, and three identical shelves of storage space. Not to mention the utility table. The 25 stands taller and wider than the 16, with a 35-gun capacity and 12-gauge steel construction over the Outrider 16’s 14-gauge steel.
The Outrider 41 expands the dimensions to 72 inches tall and 36 inches wide, resulting in a 48-gun capacity. It also includes two U-shaped racks and one GunStiXX plate.
The Outrider 16 is an entry-level unit that lacks a fire rating. However, the Outrider 25 and 41 are rated at 1,400 degrees Fahrenheit for up to sixty minutes.
Sanctuary Diamond Line

From the makers of Remington and Sports Afield safes comes the Sanctuary Diamond line, designed for the home office. The Sanctuary Diamond Home and Office series is California DOJ-approved and waterproof-rated for up to one week. It is built from thick 10-gauge steel and is fire-rated for 90 minutes at 1,800 degrees.
Previous versions of the Diamond featured an electronic keypad and two sizes: a smaller .75 cubic foot model and a larger 1.25 cubic foot model. The latest in the Diamond line are the same size categories but now feature a biometric unlocking mechanism for rapid access.
The Sanctuary In-Wall Vault

Want a compact safe but don’t have the space? Consider the Sanctuary In-Wall Vault. This new Sanctuary offer has an internal storage space of 0.49 cubic feet, ideal for storing documents and compact handguns.
The In-Wall Vault mounts discreetly in between sixteen-inch centers in a typical wall. Available in either a black or white finish, this 14-gauge box features internal lighting, backup key access, and an illuminated programmable electronic keypad.
LOKAWAY Pivoting Door Safes

LOKAWAY of Australia is best known for its pry-proof safes that feature a unique Swing N’ Slide door lock-up, in addition to traditional 1-inch-thick crossbolts. New for the US market in 2026 are the LOKAWAY 16-gun, 20-gun, 28-gun, and 34-gun safes.
These safes feature the same pivot door lockup as other LOKAWAY safes that are virtually impervious to prying tools. The 16-gun safe is constructed of 16-gauge steel, while the larger capacity models are 14-gauge. The 12-gun safe is fire rated at 1,400 degrees for 45 minutes, while the larger models are tested at 1,800 degrees for 60 minutes.
LOKAWAY Lockable Storage Cabinet
Another new LOKAWAY in 2026 is the LOKAWAY Storage Cabinet. This 18-gauge constructed key-entry lockbox is an ideal light storage solution for documents, ammunition, and the like. Unlike other locking cabinets that generally have pry-able entry points, the LOKAWAY Storage Cabinet has the same pivoting door technology as its larger safes. As such, it is the only cabinet on the market that is California DOJ approved.
First Watch Guardian Electronic Pistol Boxes

Homak Security has released two new electronic-activated pistol boxes under their First Watch Guardian brand of vaults. These new offerings come in small and medium sizes. The small size measures 3.5 x 10 x 7.5 inches and is made of 14-gauge steel construction. The electronic keypad has internal batteries and a 9-volt backup battery for added redundancy.
The medium-sized box has a 5.5 inch depth, but otherwise identical width and height and construction.
Vaultek XT Series

Vaultek is best known for its Lifepod polycarbonate TSA-approved travel safes, but they are no stranger to steel safes. The Vaultek XT series is a line of 14-gauge steel lockboxes featuring both biometric and electronic keypad access.
Included in the line are the 10 Series, 20 Series, and 30 Series, in consecutive sizes. The 10 Series is large enough for one subcompact handgun and an additional magazine. The 20 Series has a capacity for two compact handguns. Finally, the 30 Series is the largest and can fit two full-sized pistols with extra magazines.
Each model features a 1,500 lb. security cable, oversized internal hinges, and a pry-proof lid. But the most standout feature of the XT line is Vaultek’s ViSN technology, which allows programming and logging of unauthorized access attempts on your favorite mobile device.
Vaultek Lifepod XT

The original Vaultek Lifepod prioritized lightweight construction and fast access over carrying capacity. The new Lifepod XT takes the opposite approach. Although it is constructed of the same impact-resistant polycarbonate, the XT has up to 998 cubic inches of foam-padded storage capacity.
Like other LifePod models, the XT features both external retention latches and a pry-proof internal latch. It is available with or without biometric scanning technology. The XT is Vaultek’s take on a modular safe with padded storage capacity for multiple handguns, electronic equipment, and other valuables.
Vaultek XRC

The XRC is Vaultek’s take on an on-the-go rifle lockbox. It features a four-digit electronic keypad, a biometric programming for up to twenty different fingerprints, and over 2,700 cubic inches of storage capacity.
Like the other LifePods, the XRC features internal and external security latches and a hardy polycarbonate construction. The XRC has interchangeable lid layouts for customized accessory carrying, twelve anchor points, and quick-release straps for your choice of rifle. The Vaultek XRC also comes with handles and wheels for ease of transport.
Vaultek RS Slider

An open-top lockbox design is straightforward, but it is not necessarily the best if it is bolted in a fixed position. For under the bed, under a large shelf, or out of the truck bed, the Vaultek RS Slider is a more ideal storage solution.
This 14-gauge box features the same locking mechanism, biometric programming, and four-digit electronic keypad as other Vaultek models. It also comes with the option for Vaultek’s ViSN access technology.
The chief difference is a sliding door rather than an open top for rapid access in tight corners. With over 1,970 cubic inches of storage space, the Vaultek RS Slider boasts enough storage capacity for a tactical rifle or shotgun, plus companion full-sized handguns with tactical lights.
