Meet The ARAD 5

The ARAD 5 is a hybrid. It is a blend of proven systems merged seamlessly into a modern rifle with the same no nonsense foundation that led to the development and production of the Zion service rifle lines here in the United States. You’ll notice very little change in the lower receiver, your AR mods are welcome here.

The iteration is in the upper. Short stroke piston operation has been recognized for its on demand reliability under extreme conditions, the ARAD 5 utilizes this operating principle with a 2-position gas regulator for use with modern suppression systems. The barrel and piston are housed in a semi-monolithic upper receiver group to provide more uninterrupted and uniformly aligned mounting real estate for the user’s optics. The barrel assembly anchors into one of the most recognizably IWI innovations, the patented CamLok. Seen in products since the Tavor SAR, the CamLok helps expedite maintainer tasks, barrel changes or any deep interior maintenance. An M-LOK compatible handguard completes the ensemble, with an opening to access the gas regulator and extending the top rail.

The Next Evolution

The Tavor series became the best production examples of ergonomic modern bullpups. The Galil ACE models are arguably the most evolved form of the venerable AK platform, the 5.45 models being far better AK12s than the AK12 ever was.
