On the Range
On the range, the new Alpha is everything I expect from the Echelon line. My first major takeaway is the price point. This is significantly more gun than the price would suggest. The gun I received came equipped with a Vortex Defender -ST Red dot, which would work great on this pistol.
Performance-wise, the Alpha ran just like all the other Echelons I have run before it. I found the trigger to break well, and the gun, with its nice cuts, was easy to manipulate.

Like other versions of this gun, I carried it for a week as my EDC. I found the Alpha to be a comfortable carry pistol. The grip texture is great for running the gun, but not so abrasive that it digs into your skin or destroys your clothes.
Echelon Alpha 4.0C
Overall, I give the new Alpha two thumbs up. If you are looking for Echelon performance and an excellent price point, the Alpha is your gun.
