CrossBreed Holsters Belly Band 2.0 Offers Concealed Carry in Any Attire

It can be tough to carry concealed during certain activities and their corresponding attire. For example, running shorts don’t offer much to affix a holster to. Likewise, semi-formal attire (without a jacket) leaves few real options for concealing your pistol. For this reason, belly bands, like the Belly Band 2.0 from CrossBreed Holsters, help hide your concealed carry, regardless of attire.

The CrossBreed Holsters Belly Band 2.0

Constructed of a new polyester jersey outer shell, the Belly Band 2.0 is designed for maximum comfort. The soft, form-fitting material maintains breathability, so you stay cooler on hot days during strenuous activity. In addition, the jersey outer has an anti-microbial feature that can withstand up to 25 hand washes.

The band includes anti-slip panels that help ensure your pistol remains in place during wear. While in place, the panels minimize rotation and slippage, and the holster remains comfortably where you want it.

Featuring a large loop panel, the Belly Band 2.0 is designed to work with CrossBreed’s modular holsters. The modular holsters contain a hook backing that attaches to the loop panel on the Belly Band. Securing the holster to the Belly Band involves placing it where you want and then stretching the elastic band over the top.

As a result, you can determine the placement, ride, and cant of your holster. Likewise, if you have another pistol you like to carry from time to time, you can swap out the holster to accommodate it. Additionally, with the optional Backup Bedside Assembly, you can remove the holster and secure it to your bedside before bed. This provides instant access during the night for instant home and personal defense.

Because it uses the modular holster, the Belly Band 2.0 can accommodate numerous handgun models. Likewise, the system also comes with two integrated pockets that fit most magazines. There is also a pocket for a mobile device or other similar-sized items.

Editor’s Note

Belly bands are great when there are no other options, but they also have their inherent drawbacks. Most people who carry concealed are used to belt line access. However, belly bands tend to ride much higher. For this reason, during the heat of the moment, you may find yourself reaching to your belt and falling short of your pistol.

Likewise, with belt line carry, it is much quicker and easier to clear your shirt and access your pistol. But because you have to lift your shirt much higher with a belly band, there is the possibility of fouling your own draw.

For these reasons, I recommend practicing your draw with your belly band at home. The idea is to get used to your firearm’s high, vertical placement before an emergency arises. This will also allow you to adjust the placement of your firearm for the ideal draw for you. Just make sure your firearm is unloaded, and you are drawing in a safe direction.
