The Crimson Trace RUGER MAX-9 Laserguard
Constructed of a durable polymer, the laserguard additionally features texturing to match the RUGER MAX-9. Only available in black, the laserguard does offer the option between red or green laser. The laser is activated via Crimson Trace’s Instinctive Activation technology. As a result, the laser activates when the user grips the firearm, as their middle finger rests on the button just below the trigger guard. However, a master on/off switch ensures that it doesn’t come on when you don’t want it to.
The IPX4 waterproof construction protects the laserguard from rain or other directional water sprays/splashes. Operating on a single 1/3N lithium battery, the laserguard provides 4 hours of use. The battery is replaced via a bottom-accessible battery compartment and allows for quick and easy replacement when necessary. Correspondingly, the master on/off switch preserves battery life and prevents accidental actuation.
The laserguard is mounted to the trigger guard using a two-piece clamshell design. Specifically, the two pieces come together around the trigger guard, for a secure fit specific to the RUGER MAX-9. Once installed, the laserguard features adjustments for both windage and elevation. As a result, every user can dial in the targeting specifically for their pistol.
