Aimpoint Introduces Rugged and Compact Pistol Sight With Acro P-1

Most shooters use optics on rifles, because they allow more accuracy. However, there are a lot of optics available for pistols, including the Aimpoint Acro P-1 pistol sight. Aimpoint built the Acro P-1 to withstand extreme conditions, both environmental and temperature. The company even tested these units to handle a minimum of 20,000 rounds of .40 S&W ammo. Since most shooters seldom seldom get anywhere close to this range count, this unit should last a long time for most people.

To start, this red dot sight features a fully enclosed housing for durability. In fact, the Acro P-1 is currently the smallest enclosed red dot on the market. This unit measures 1.9-inches long and 1.2-inches wide and high. As such, it weights a mere 2.1 ounces, including the battery.

The unit also features a 3.5 MOA reticle, with adjustment switches than can be manipulated while wearing gloves. A single CR1225 battery powers the unit for over one year of continuous use, and shooters can replace the battery without removing it from the gun. So whether using it as a primary or a backup, it never loses true.
