Cold Steel just announced its newest line of knives, dubbed the Range Boss. The folding lockback blades bring proven features, making the knives suitable for everyday carry, tactical applications, hunting and general use.
Cold Steel Range Boss
Designed as a true general-purpose folder, the Range Boss carries light. It features a thin profile for carry in the pocket, waistband or jacket. But it still brings enough size for most any task, according to Cold Steel.
The Range Boss blade utilizes 4034SS steel. It features a flat-ground profile for easy sharpening, staying sharp for extended use, according to Cold Steel. The knives include a four-inch length and clip point. It proves suitable for a broad range of cutting jobs, ranging from field dressing to utility work. Additionally, the blade features a stonewashed finish for a sharp look and reduced glare. Meanwhile, a thumb-assist stud enables one-hand opening.
The folded blade houses within the company’s Tri-Ad locking system within the 5.25-inch Z-Ex handle. It comes in black or OD green, a glass-reinforced nylon material featuring a tactile stippling pattern and jimping along the spine. The treatment delivers a positive grip, according to Cold steel. Finally, an ambidextrous pocket clip rounds out the features.
The Range Boss retails for $51.99. For even more info, please visit coldsteel.com.
